The Black Angel Team: Sim Racing with a Touch of Style
In the world of sim racing, where competition is fierce, and driving skills are constantly put to the test, some teams stand out for their passion and dedication. Among them is the Black Angel Team, a group of enthusiasts that has built a solid reputation both in Italy and internationally.
What is Sim Racing?
Sim racing, or racing simulation, is much more than a video game. It is a discipline that faithfully replicates the driving experience, requiring skills, strategy, and a deep understanding of driving dynamics. Simulators like Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and rFactor offer immersive simulations with accurately recreated tracks, weather conditions, and vehicles, making sim racing a true virtual sport.
The Birth of the Black Angel Team
Founded in April 2006 by Diego, the Black Angel Team is a nonprofit association. It consists of sim racing enthusiasts who share a love for the simulators developed by the Italian studio Kunos Simulazioni. Since its inception, the team has ...

Project Motor Racing: Revolution also in MODs
Project Motor Racing: Revolution also in MODs
With the launch scheduled for November 25, 2025, Project Motor Racing aims not only as a new benchmark for automotive simulation, but also as an open, expandable and community-created ecosystem, thanks to an integrated modding system like never before seen in a multi-platform console and PC title.
Integral part of the project
Unlike many other simulators, where the support for mods is only partial (and often only on PC), Project Motor Racing will offer full support for mods also on consoles from the day of launch. This is possible thanks to the integration of the GIANTS Engine game engine, already tested and appreciated for mod support in Farming Simulator.
Official ModHub
All mods will be managed through the official ModHub, a centralized platform where users can:
Download cars, tracks, liveries and sounds
Filter content by platform, type or author
See reviews and ratings from other players
Automatically update installed mods
In addition, the ModHub will also be available for console versions, with an approval system that will ensure compatibility and safety for all uploaded content.
Mod authors
Anyone will be able to create and publish content, but with an added benefit:
modders will be able to earn money. The development team has confirmed the activation of a partner program, which will allow authors to receive a percentage of the revenue generated by downloads of their certified mods.
Dedicated Editor
The game will be distributed with a separate Mod Editor, based on professional but simplified tools to ensure accessibility even for less experienced users. This editor will allow by:
Import 3D models in FBX or GLTF format
Define physical parameters (aerodynamics, grip, mass)
Customize sounds, animations and interface
Test the contents directly locally before uploading
Cross-platform and synchronization
All approved official mods will be cross-platform. This means that a car created on PC can also be used by a player on Xbox or PlayStation, without limitations. Content synchronization will be automatic, both in single player and in multiplayer servers.
