The Black Angel Team: Sim Racing with a Touch of Style

In the world of sim racing, where competition is fierce, and driving skills are constantly put to the test, some teams stand out for their passion and dedication. Among them is the Black Angel Team, a group of enthusiasts that has built a solid reputation both in Italy and internationally.

What is Sim Racing?

Sim racing, or racing simulation, is much more than a video game. It is a discipline that faithfully replicates the driving experience, requiring skills, strategy, and a deep understanding of driving dynamics. Simulators like Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and rFactor offer immersive simulations with accurately recreated tracks, weather conditions, and vehicles, making sim racing a true virtual sport.

The Birth of the Black Angel Team

NASCAR 25 Patch Notes - December 8

NASCAR 25 has released a new update (Patch Notes - December 8) introducing significant improvements, bug fixes, and new content for virtual racing fans. The focus has been on optimizing the Artificial Intelligence (AI), fixing issues in Championship mode, and updating in-game content.

AI Improvements and Optimization

One of the most important changes relates to AI behavior on the track:

Improved AI speeds when exiting pit road: AI-controlled drivers will now exhibit a more realistic and competitive exit speed from pit road, reducing unusual slowdowns and improving race flow.
Re-tuned AI Incident Slider: This re-tuning aims to optimize the frequency and nature of AI-generated incidents, making races either more unpredictable or cleaner, depending on the setting.
Fixed an online issue with AI drivers sometimes being out of sync: An issue in online mode where AI drivers could occasionally be out of sync has been resolved, ensuring a more consistent and fair multiplayer experience.

New Content and Aesthetics

The update brings fresh content for fans:

3 New Kyle Larson schemes: Players can now access three new liveries for Kyle Larson's car, allowing for greater customization and visual variety on the track.
Added the Goodyear blimp: This additional aesthetic element enhances realism and immersion in race scenes.

Critical Bug Fixes

Essential fixes have been implemented to improve game stability and logic:

Fix for Championship mode winner: A critical bug in Championship mode that allowed the final race winner to clinch the title even if they were not in the "Final Four" (the four drivers qualified for the title contention) has been fixed. This ensures that the championship logic adheres to official rules.
Fixed an issue in the paint kit: An issue in the Paint Kit (livery customization tool) where shapes would sometimes disappear has been resolved, improving the creation experience.
Fixed issue that could potentially cause a server connect error: An issue that could potentially cause a server connect error when loading a track online has been fixed.

Updates and Support

Updated Driver Ratings through 2025 season: Driver ratings have been updated to reflect the performance and rosters of the 2025 season, ensuring in-game statistics are current.
Support for December DLC: The update introduces full compatibility for the downloadable content (DLC) scheduled for December.

This patch demonstrates the developers' commitment to refining the NASCAR 25 experience, focusing particularly on game accuracy and improving the multiplayer mode.
