F1® 25: Patch v1.16 Released – Preparation for Survival Challenge and New Customization Options

The F1® 25 Patch v1.16 is rolling out (scheduled to begin distribution at 10am UTC on Monday, December 8) and introduces a range of crucial improvements, fixes, and preparations ahead of upcoming in-game events. This update is essential for all players preparing for the second part of the Survival Challenge, which is set to begin on December 17.

Key Added Content and Updates:

• Casual Wear and Customization: A wide range of new Casual Wear items has been added to the Podium Pass Store. These include exclusive pieces from official F1® fashion collections and items from real-world brands such as Puma, Alpinestars, Anti Social Social Club, Kappa, Patta, Period Correct Squadra Corse, and Stance, offering more options for personalizing the Driver Avatar.

• My Team Career: All Title Sponsor liveries owned by the player can now be used in the My Team Career mode.

Peripheral Support (Wheels/Controllers):

The update extends support for sim racing peripherals, adding compatibility for VRS products:

• Added support for the VRS R295, Pro, and Lite Formula Steering Wheels. (Note: Ensure Input Mapping is set to 'Modern' in the DirectForce Pro Config Tool for the VRS Pro and Lite Formula Steering Wheels).

• Added support for VRS Direct Force Pro Wheel Bases and Pro Pedals.

Bug Fixes and Miscellaneous Improvements:

• PC: Fixed an issue where enabling AMD FSR and relaunching the title could set the Anti-Aliasing setting back to 'TAA Only'.

• PC: Fixed an issue with the appearance of rain in exported Highlights videos.

• F2™ 2025 Cars: Improvements made to the shadows on the car models.

• F2™ 25 Vehicles: Tyre wear has been adjusted to better reflect real-life wear rates.

• Driver Helmet: Fixed an issue where the driver Kush Maini could sometimes be using an incorrect helmet.
