NASCAR 25: November 18 Update Improves Compatibility and Online Features
NASCAR 25: November 18 Update Improves Compatibility and Online Features
NASCAR 25 developers have released a significant update today that addresses several technical issues and introduces highly requested features from the community. The November 18 patch notes highlight a concrete commitment to improving the gaming experience for all users, particularly for those using less powerful hardware.
Fixed Loading Issue for Entry-Level Graphics Cards
The development team has finally resolved a critical bug that prevented some players with lower-end graphics cards from launching the game. This issue, which has affected numerous users since launch, caused crashes or black screens during initial loading. The fix will now allow a broader audience of players to enjoy the NASCAR 25 experience, making the title accessible even to those with less performant hardware configurations.
Control Mapping Directly from Splash Screen
One of the most appreciated additions is undoubtedly the ability to map controls directly from the splash screen. This feature eliminates the need to enter the game to configure peripherals such as wheels, pedals, and controllers, allowing players to set up their devices even before accessing the main menu. This is a particularly useful implementation for those who use multiple peripherals or want to quickly test different configurations.
New Default Configurations for Wheels
Support for racing wheels has been significantly expanded with the introduction of default configurations for a greater number of models. Sim racing enthusiasts will now be able to connect their devices and find optimized settings ready to use, without having to spend hours manually calibrating every single command. This addition demonstrates the developers' attention to the more hardcore sim racing community.
Password-Protected Private Lobbies
Finally, the update introduces the long-awaited ability to create password-protected private online lobbies. This feature will allow groups of friends and organized communities to create private race sessions without the risk of intrusions from unwanted players. The feature is ideal for online championships, private events, and team training sessions.
The update is already available for download on all platforms and installs automatically when launching the game. The developers have confirmed they will continue to monitor community feedback for future improvements.
