RENNSPORT: Patch 1.1.4 Coming with Approximately 90 Fixes and Improvements
November 18, 2025 - RENNSPORT developers have announced the imminent release of patch 1.1.4, the first major post-launch update bringing significant improvements to the gaming experience across all platforms.
A Community-Awaited Update
Following the official launch on November 13 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, Competition Company and development partner Teyon immediately focused on community feedback. Update 1.1.4 represents a concrete response to player reports, with a substantial package including approximately 90 fixes and improvements.
Resolving Xbox Wheel Issues
One of the most critical issues addressed by this update concerns wheel compatibility on Xbox. Many players reported connection difficulties and input problems with devices from major manufacturers. Patch 1.1.4 definitively resolves these issues for:
- Fanatec - All manufacturer devices will function properly
- Logitech - Full compatibility with the entire wheel range
- Thrustmaster - Connection and input issues resolved
The developers publicly thanked these hardware partners for their quick response and support provided in the days following the launch.
Fixes for Handheld Controllers
Beyond wheels, issues related to handheld console controller setup have also been resolved. Some players experienced difficulties during the setup process, with the system sometimes not correctly recognizing devices. The cause of this malfunction has been identified and corrected.
Critical PC Fix
PC users will benefit from a particularly important correction: a specific telemetry-related crash that could occur during gaming sessions has been resolved. This issue, which caused sudden application closures, will no longer occur once the patch is installed.
Release Timeline
The development team has shared a detailed roadmap of the release process:
- November 13: Patch sent to third-party QA partners for thorough testing
- November 13-17: Intensive Quality Assurance phase to ensure any issues are resolved before certification
- November 17: Final confirmation and patch submission to console partners for approval
- November 18: Expected release across all platforms
The fast-track certification process typically takes about 24 hours. Developers expressed optimism about meeting this timeline, after which the patch will be available simultaneously on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
The Importance of Community Feedback
Competition Company emphasized how crucial community feedback is in their development process. Even after the official launch, this will continue to be a central pillar of the game's evolution.
Developers invite players who encounter bugs or issues to report them through the official Servicedesk at: https://rennsport.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/3
This system ensures that no report is lost and that every issue is properly tracked and managed.
Full Patch Notes Coming
Complete patch notes with a detailed list of all 90 fixes and improvements will be published shortly before the update's release. Developers preferred to focus first on quality testing to ensure maximum stability.
A Long-Term Commitment
Kim Orremark, Creative Director of RENNSPORT, stated: "Our focus right now and for the future is simple: We're committed to steadily improving the overall player experience in RENNSPORT, and you will see consistent progress over the coming days, weeks, and months."
This week's game launch represents only the starting point of a long-term development journey. With a solid driving foundation and impeccable cross-play system, the team is ready to ensure a "long and exciting race" for all sim racing enthusiasts.
Looking to the Future
Beyond this first update, developers have confirmed that:
- A roadmap for future content, features, and updates will be communicated by the end of 2025
- The first paid DLC pack "Endurance Classics Part 1" will arrive in December, including the Le Mans circuit and three historic cars
- VR support and dynamic weather are confirmed for a later date
- The ability to host private multiplayer lobbies is planned
Patch 1.1.4 marks the beginning of a continuous refinement process that will allow RENNSPORT to express its full potential as a next-generation sim racing platform.
