New Update Available for RaceRoom Racing Experience
New Update Available for RaceRoom Racing Experience
October 27th, 2025 - Sector3 Studios has released a major update for RaceRoom Racing Experience today, bringing the simulator to version 0.9.7.25 (BuildID 20546576). This 1.9GB update introduces numerous critical bug fixes, significant physics updates, and graphical improvements that make the driving experience even more realistic and stable.
Stability and Performance: Top Priority
The developers have focused their efforts on resolving critical issues affecting game stability. Plausible fixes for crashes related to the particle management system have been implemented, an issue that caused sudden interruptions during racing sessions. To offer users more control, a new "OFF" setting for Particle Detail has been added to the graphics options menu, allowing players with less powerful configurations to improve performance.
Another resolved issue concerned crashes related to car setups, which could occur during loading or modifying configurations. These fixes should ensure smoother, uninterrupted gaming sessions.
Improved Artificial Intelligence
A particularly annoying bug that saw AI cars crawling the wrong way while attempting to rejoin the track has been fixed. This anomalous behavior, which could create dangerous and unrealistic situations during races, should no longer occur. Additionally, an HUD issue displaying an old overlay when a remote car was disqualified has been resolved.
Physics Updates: Enhanced Realism
Sector3 Studios has dedicated particular attention to refining the physics model of several car categories:
DTM 13-16 and DTM 2020 have received significant physics updates. For the DTM 2020 series, developers have reduced anti-squat and fine-tuned the base setup, improving the dynamic behavior of the cars and making them more realistic in handling load transitions.
The Formula RaceRoom Junior has also benefited from a physics update that should improve handling and car response.
Graphical Improvements and Vehicle Corrections
The update introduces a wide range of graphical improvements and corrections for numerous vehicles in the roster:
Texture and Material Updates
- Audi RS3 TCR: updated textures
- BMW M4 GT3 and M6 GT3: improved windshields with updated textures
- Ferrari 488: completely revised textures
- Nissan R90 CK and Porsche 962C: texture updates
- Formula RaceRoom 3: optimized textures
- Canhard R52: updated rim textures
- DMD P20 and P21: revised textures and various improvements

Conclusion
This October 27th update represents an important step for RaceRoom Racing Experience, consolidating the simulator's stability and improving the overall quality of the gaming experience. The crash fixes, physics updates, and numerous graphical improvements demonstrate Sector3 Studios' continued commitment to perfecting one of the most appreciated racing simulators in the sim racing community.
