iRacing Arcade: Free Demo Arrives October 13th on Steam

PC racing enthusiasts will finally be able to experience iRacing Arcade from the comfort of their homes starting October 13th, 2025, when a free demo launches on the Steam platform. This represents an unmissable opportunity for all players eager to get an early taste of this innovative new title.

A Work-in-Progress Build

The demo presents itself as a work-in-progress build and will feature limited content and functionality. Despite these limitations, it will allow players to get an initial feel for the title and experience its unique gameplay mechanics. iRacing Arcade is born from a strategic partnership between iRacing Studios and developer Original Fire Games.

The Original Fire Games team has already demonstrated their capabilities with previous successes Circuit and Karting Superstars. With iRacing Arcade, the developers aim to build on those solid foundations, offering a balanced mix of licensed and fictional content.

Demo and Full Game Content

The demo will allow players to get their hands on exclusive content, including the celebrated Porsche 911 and a new circuit, Tsukuba, making their debut appearance in this trial version.

As for the full game, the car roster will include prestigious vehicles such as the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and FIA F4, while the track lineup will cover iconic locations like Lime Rock Park and Imola, offering a variety of driving experiences for all tastes.

IMSA Petit Le Mans Partnership

To celebrate the demo's release, iRacing Arcade has forged an exclusive partnership with this weekend's IMSA Motul Petit Le Mans event. Max Esterson, Walter Hays Trophy winner and 2025 Formula 2 driver, will compete for JDC-Miller MotorSports.

Their distinctive yellow Porsche 963 GTP will sport game logos as part of its livery during the event, a design that has been faithfully recreated in iRacing Arcade as well.

"GTP racing is some of the best competition in the world and a fun new challenge," said Esterson. "iRacing Arcade will be the same for racing gamers of all ages and skill sets, with its unique aesthetic and ease of play. I can't wait for people to get their hands on the demo!"

Innovative Gameplay Modes

Beyond the miniaturized cars and tracks characterized by a distinctive graphic style, iRacing Arcade will offer online multiplayer and a particularly ambitious career mode. The latter will allow players to build a true motorsport empire, integrating gameplay elements inspired by SimCity, creating a unique experience in the racing game landscape.

Release Plans and Availability

The full game will be released on PC by the end of 2025. Console versions will follow in 2026, with the addition of local split-screen functionality, allowing players to compete with friends and family on the same screen.

Visitors to SimRacing Expo, taking place on Saturday, October 18th, will also have the exclusive opportunity to test iRacing Arcade at the Fanatec booth, offering a hands-on experience before the official Steam demo release.
