Le Mans Ultimate: Known Issues List (February 2025 Update)

Studio 397 has published a detailed list of currently known issues in Le Mans Ultimate, many of which are already being addressed. Updates will be communicated through the game's official channels, including social media, Discord, and forums.

General and Important Issues

• Compatibility: The game is only supported on Windows systems that meet the minimum requirements. Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck are not supported.

• Memory error: The "Failed to allocate a section of memory" error can occur if the Windows paging file is too small, especially on systems with low RAM.

• Regional settings: If Windows regional settings use a comma (",") as the decimal separator and a period (".") as the thousands separator, the game may not start. These settings need to be inverted.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Pit stops at Spa: In the Endurance layout of Spa, AI-controlled opponents do not pit and run out of fuel.

• Lapping behavior: AI can get too close to the player during lapping in some situations.

Broadcast Interface

• FCY display: Full Course Yellow is displayed as "Code 80."

• Inverted NRG bar: The NRG bar is displayed in reverse on the driver overlay.

• Tire display: Sometimes tires are displayed incorrectly.

• Overlay vignette: The vignette behind the overlay needs to be extended to the entire left side of the page.

• Social media prompt: An unstyled social media prompt is occasionally triggered.

Co-op Mode

• Average lap statistics: Average lap time statistics do not always work correctly.

• Score updates: Score updates do not always appear after a driver swap.

• Stint review menu: During a pit stop, the stint review menu may show a driving time of 0h 0m.

• Engine settings: Engine map and regeneration settings cannot be changed after loading into a session.

• Tips: The team creator can reassign drivers via the dropdown menu after using the driver swap button.

• Tips: Returning a session to the host after it has been closed will reset it.

Hosted Servers

• Full formation lap start: Hosted servers currently do not offer a full formation lap start.

• Event map display: When entering hosted servers, the event screen may show an incorrect map for circuits with alternative layouts, but will still load the correct track.

Input Devices

• Thrustmaster device disconnection: Some Thrustmaster devices (TMX, T818, T248, T150, T300RS) may disconnect after multiple sessions. It is recommended to completely reinstall Thrustmaster software and firmware.

• Controller navigation: Controllers cannot navigate menus, including the pause screen.

• Tire degradation: Controller users may experience increased tire degradation.

• Controller vibration adjustment: To adjust controller vibration, you need to modify "Force Feedback."

• SDK compatibility: Some manufacturer SDKs may require updates from their development teams to be compatible with displays or LEDs.

• Missing controller profiles: Some controllers may not have default profiles; it is recommended to report them in the community Discord channel. In the meantime, users can manually assign controls.

• Fanatec GT DD Pro: Assigning "Brake migration Forward" and "Brake Bias Forward" to any button on the wheel will cause the setting to be pressed repeatedly.

• Logitech issue: Logitech users who have their wheel locked to one side should enable "constant steering force" in the settings.

Online

• Online mode disabled: If online mode is disabled, you may need to create an online account and/or accept the terms and competition rules. Click on your profile and then the notepad icon to change these settings.

• Steam authentication expired: If Steam authentication has expired, try restarting the Steam application (make sure to completely exit Steam in the system tray, not just close the window).

• Unable to join servers: Ensure that the time zone in Windows is set to "automatic." Verify file integrity in Steam; you may need to delete the "Installed" folder first.
