What is Sim Racing?

Sim racing, or racing simulation, is much more than a video game. It is a discipline that faithfully replicates the driving experience, requiring skills, strategy, and a deep understanding of driving dynamics. Simulators like Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and rFactor offer immersive simulations with accurately recreated tracks, weather conditions, and vehicles, making sim racing a true virtual sport.

BMW M Hybrid V8 Roars Back into RENNSPORT, Joined by Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II and BMW M4 GT4 in New Weekly Car Roster

Munich, Germany – April 17, 2025 – Virtual racing enthusiasts rejoice! RENNSPORT has announced its latest weekly rotation of free-to-use cars, and headlining the selection is the return of an endurance racing icon: the BMW M Hybrid V8.

Having thrilled players previously, the powerful German hybrid machine is once again available to be tamed on RENNSPORT’s virtual circuits. But it doesn't come alone: joining it in this week of free action are the sophisticated Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, perfect for those who love GT competitions, and the agile BMW M4 GT4, ideal for closer, more technical battles.

This new selection of cars will be accessible to all RENNSPORT players for an entire week, until April 16, 2025. Furthermore, the eVIN system opens the door to a high level of aesthetic customization, allowing drivers to express their unique style through personalized liveries and the application of decals.
