Moza Racing CM2 HD Dash – The Ultimate Sim Racing Display Review
Moza Racing CM2 HD Dash – The Ultimate Review for Sim Racers
In the ever-evolving world of sim racing, Moza Racing keeps pushing forward. Their latest release, the CM2 HD Dash, is a serious piece of gear aimed at professional and dedicated virtual drivers.
What’s in the box?
The package includes the 5” HD display, mounting bracket, USB-C and RJ11 cables, adhesive pads, a quick start guide, and some branded stickers. The build quality is excellent, and setup is simple.
Specs and hardware
At the center is a 720p 5” touchscreen running at 60 Hz, providing sharp, bright visuals. It’s equipped with 10 top RGB LEDs and 6 side LEDs, all customizable via Moza Pit House. The touch response is snappy, and swiping between pages is fluid and fast.
Software and compatibility
The CM2 works via USB or RJ11 connection. While USB mode is useful, it’s currently less stable due to awkward port placement. The RJ11 connection with Moza bases offers flawless performance.
Configuration is done via Moza Pit House, the same software used for FSR2 wheels. Some interface elements are still in Chinese, and unfortunately, SimHub support is missing, which may disappoint advanced users.
Track performance
Tested with iRacing, Assetto Corsa, and ACC, the display proved to be fast, accurate, and extremely helpful – especially during endurance races where screen switching becomes crucial. Touch interaction was smooth, and visibility remained excellent throughout.
Verdict
The Moza CM2 HD Dash is an excellent addition to any sim rig. While not perfect, it delivers a premium experience and is especially valuable for Moza ecosystem users. Lack of SimHub support aside, it's a top-tier racing display. Highly recommended.
